The Speaker of the Republic’s Assembly Zorlu Töre is continuing with his contacts in Antalya, where he went to attend the 15th International Education Management Forum Congress.
According to the information given by the Assembly, Töre first visited the Antalya Branch of the Turkish Cypriot Cultural Association and met with its President Vural Önal and members of the association.
During Töre’s visit to the Association, ideas were exchanged on the Cyprus problem and the developments in the Eastern Mediterranean Region.
Töre then visited the Antalya Branch of the Turkish Retired Sergeants Association.
During the visit, which was also attended by veterans of the Cyprus Peace Operation, Töre answered questions and evaluated the developments in Cyprus.
Within the scope of his visits, Töre also visited Uncalı Martyrs’ Cemetery where he prayed and placed flowers on the graves.
Töre, who was accompanied by TRNC Antalya Consul General Cem Topçu during his visits, is expected to return to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus later today.
